For web agencies

Every client's uptime.
One subscription.

A workspace per client, a status page with their name on it, and a report in their inbox with yours. And a pager that stays quiet unless all three probes, on three continents, agree the site is down.

Built by someone who ran one.

An agency doesn't monitor a product. It monitors forty other people's sites, gets the 3am call for all of them, and has to show each client — separately — that it's paying attention. Most monitoring is priced and shaped for the first job. This is how Repose does the second.

1

Paste the client list.

URLs, bare hostnames, or the CSV export from whatever you use now — Import a list reads up to 500 lines at a time, shows you what it found and what it skipped and why, and creates the monitors. HTTP, TCP, DNS, SSL certificates, heartbeats for cron jobs, and multi-step API checks for the login that has to keep working.

2

One workspace per client, one invoice for you.

The Agency plan covers 50 client workspaces under your subscription, sharing 500 monitors as one pool — give the big client eighty and the brochure site three. New workspaces you create are covered automatically. Every client is on one screen, the ones in trouble first.

A client who'd rather pay for themselves can: their workspace takes its own plan and leaves your pool.

3

A status page that is theirs.

Their logo, their colour, on their own hostname — status.client.com — and on Agency, without "powered by Repose" on it. Keep the database port and the staging site off the public page with one switch per monitor; they're still checked and still alert.

4

A report in the client's inbox, under your name.

On the 1st of each month the client gets last month's uptime, incidents and response times by email. It carries your name, your logo and your colour; replies come to you; on a white-label workspace nothing in it mentions us. You see exactly what they'll get before it's ever sent.

5

The right person is woken — and only for something real.

Up to 10 on-call rotations in a workspace, so the people who know a client's stack are the ones paged for it, with escalation if nobody answers and cover for holidays.

And the part that matters at 3am: a page goes out only when all three probes — Amsterdam, Virginia, Singapore — agree. One region timing out is written down with the reason and wakes nobody. With forty sites, that's the difference between a quiet night and a useless pager.

6

Your team signs in the way it already does.

Unlimited seats, no per-seat price. Single sign-on through your identity provider — OpenID Connect or SAML — on Agency and up, and you can require it so a colleague who leaves loses access with everything else.

What isn't there, so you don't find out later.
Uptime monitoring that doesn't cry wolf.

Run it next to what you use today for two weeks. The number to watch isn't uptime — it's how many times each one woke you, and how many of those were real.
