Terms of service

What Repose is
Repose is an uptime monitoring service. We probe HTTP endpoints, TCP ports, DNS records, and SSL certificates on a schedule you configure, and notify you when consensus across multiple probe regions indicates a real failure.
Your account
You're responsible for keeping your password secure and for activity that happens in your workspace. If you spot something suspicious, email [email protected] and we'll help.
What you can monitor
Endpoints you control or have permission to probe. Don't use Repose to test infrastructure you don't own. We don't allow monitoring at frequencies higher than your plan limits, and we reserve the right to suspend accounts that abuse the network.
Free tier
25 monitors at 1-minute frequency, unlimited workspace members, commercial use allowed. We will not retroactively restrict commercial use of the Free tier — that's a written commitment. If we ever need to change the Free terms, we'll grandfather existing accounts at minimum.
Paid tiers
Monthly or annual, billed via Stripe. Cancel anytime — your plan stays active through the end of the billing period. Annual customers who cancel get a pro-rated refund for unused months. No retention calls, no friction.
Our uptime promise
We target the SLA listed on your plan (99.9% Team, 99.95% Business, 99.99% Scale). When we miss it, we credit you per the published SLA. Our own status page lives at status.repose.sh.
When we're wrong
If we send you a false positive, miss a real incident, or otherwise mess up, we'll publish a postmortem in plain English. The brand is built on trust — we don't ship spin. Read our incident response policy linked from our about page.
Disclaimer of warranty
Repose is provided "as is." We do our best to be reliable and accurate, but use of the service is at your own risk. The SLA above is our financial commitment; nothing else is warranted.
Limitation of liability
Our total liability is capped at the amount you've paid us in the last 12 months. We're not liable for indirect damages or lost profits.
Changes
If we materially change these terms, we'll email every workspace owner at least 30 days before the change takes effect.
